Take what you’re hearing from Ron and Cam at press conferences with a grain of salt

I’m not going to listen to a damn thing Cam or Ron say at a press conference and put too much stock into it.

Look back at 2016 it’s like the damn twilight zone. Ron and Cam went back and forth talking about the soreness and trying to figure out what the issue was / lack of there actually being anything wrong. We all watched and knew something was serious wrong with his shoulder. The media on the other hand was putting out articles asking what’s wrong with Cam Newton? Literally nothing injury related was really being talked about people just thought the mvp from the year prior couldn’t play anymore. It wasn’t until March of fuging 2017 that he finally had his shoulder surgery and he definitely should not have played to start the 2017 season or maybe the season entirely.

Sometimes people need others to protect them from themselves. Cam is the ultimate competitor and will put his body in harms way to play the game. The way this coaching staff and medical staff have handled Cam and his shoulder since 2016 is down right appaling.

Just think, if they would have shut him down in 2016 and had him immediately get his shoulder repaired, and not rushed him back in 2017, I doubt we would be having these discussions.
