I think you're reading the odds wrong

Nope.  +200 is the most probable according this sportsbook.

Hate to ask, but what does "+200" mean?

+200 means you a 100 dollar bet would win you $200.

The more money you win (i.e Lewis at +900), the less likely it is to happen according to Vegas.

No.  There are no "favorites" since it's not a head to head matchup.  So there cannot be a "-" spread for this bet.

This is a prop moneyline bet.

Pretty clear most here are not degenerate gamblers, based on the responses. Too bad. It's a great way to be a degenerate, IMO.

When you have a quarterback that hasn't practiced in 6 weeks and can't throw the ball more than 30 yards down field, what can the head coach do? Did you see our defense hold Drew Brees to 12 points with Ron Rivera calling the plays?

This team has always gone how Cam goes. Cam is hurt and his shoulder is failing him. That is the crux of this team, not Rivera. He does not deserve to be fired nor does he deserve to be extended. Continuity will be paramount for this offense with one full season under Turner. Give him one more year and if the results aren't there, you let the entire staff go.

But seeing Rivera calling the defense was the most excited I've been watching a game all year long. The defense finally played Carolina football again. Now if Cam's should was healthy, we would normally win that game 31-12, rather than lose 12-9.

Big cat just gets one of his accountants on retainer to handle his bets. He's too busy to learn how moneyline works

You know....there is another QB on the roster who isn't injured. Just sayin'.....

I like Taylor, but Cam at 75% gives us a better shot at winning. The coaching staff feels the same way or Cam wouldn't be playing. Many people since Cam has been here has been excited to see his back-ups, only to see them and immediately understand why Cam is the guy. He needs to be on IR so he can go seek medical care for his shoulder. If this is an Andrew Luck type injury, we could be screwed for 2019.

However, I suspect that this issue with Cam requires surgery and that the coaching staff knows this. If they didn't think it was already to a point of surgical repair, they would've benched him and let him heal for a period of time. As soon as the season ends, it will be announced that Cam has surgery scheduled and will be out 6 to 8 months.

If his recovery time is that long, he should've been put on IR weeks ago.  That already jeopardizes missing all of training camp and preseason.

Isn't this the same coaching staff who kept trotting out nightmare players like Amini and Matt Kalil when better options existed? How about this, will your opinion change if we trot out Cam for the last two games, when there is literally nothing at all to play off?

    • He made some excellent throws but he always has made some excellent throws here and there. I don't know what to think, which is what I was apprehensive about. Is he going to have a decent downfield game? Because okay Legette dropped one, but someone was giving stats prior to the bye or during it where he had two downfield completions and one of them was the jump ball that is just launched and fingers are crossed that our guy comes down with it, and yesterday we saw that again. The Russell Wilson school of downfield passing.  I don't feel like that is sustainable, but at the same time you have to do Something to make the defense understand they have to defend that downfield throws. Like i said, confused.  I guess I'm going to review the game for myself and look closely at his mechanics and stuff because if he actually fixed that stuff it explains the better throws. And that has been my biggest objection, or what I see as the thing that makes or breaks his chances, that unorthodox dropback and tippy toe action and not having his feet set which limits velocity etc etc.
    • The negative Nancy in me (or objective?) says that they had a bye week to prepare for the Chiefs. However, it’s one thing to have a good plan and it’s another to actually execute it. For all the flack he’s received (from me as well), Bryce seemingly has put his head down and worked his tail off and his play is giving me hope. The first 18-game Bryce showed no progression whatsoever. He gets benched, comes back, and has shown steady progress every week he has started. I think I’m starting to see what the Bryce lovers and unconditional defenders were saying all along, and I hope he can show that on a regular basis for the sake of our QB1 position.
    • Yeah, we could still very well end up 4-13 with the 2nd pick.   I think LVR has the inside track for 1, with only a JAX team as a team on docket that could be beatable.
