The Cam Newton Era is not even remotely over and you should feel bad if you think it is

Why are they continuing to play a player who is so hurt that his play hurts the team.

1:  Ron wants to keep his job.

2:  Cam likely has wanted to try to play.

3:  Ron can't evaluate talent to save his life, and will cling to a vet starting over a younger player, even to the detriment of the team.

It’s over, dude can’t throw a ball 5 yards down the field. Even if he recovers from injuries he will be 35 and past his primes. Time to start looking into a future a replacement.

Sorry for the bad news but that’s reality.

Learn proper English/grammar/sentence structure already.

I wanted to re-visit the "you should feel bad" part of the thread.

Anyone with sense knows that we have to HOPE the Cam Newton era isn't over.  That said, if you are a GM of an NFL franchise, you can't stick your fingers in your ears and drown out the outside world.

Cam is telling you he's hurt, the docs can't figure out what's wrong with the throwing shoulder, you have Cam under contract at a very good price (if healthy or rehabbing) for two more years.  At the end of the day, like I said, you have to hope Cam get's back to himself, but you damn better have a plan if he doesn't.

I am planning on Cam coming back to at least close to his old self, but I'd also be lying if I said I'm not concerned.

The "you should feel bad" part is saved for the five shitposters who have jacked each other off to Cam's struggles lately

If Rivera is kept, he needs to be paired with a new GM who's smarter than he is.

Is just as soon clean house though.

That doesn't make sense. GM's don't make coaches play the players. How about just get a coach who can recognize a logical personnel decision.

Show me where i quoted a person and laid a specific insult. The guy stated an opinion. Whether that is a "spade" opinion, or not..it is his opinion. You however pooed all over his opinion not with evidence or logic...but with insult. Unpopular opinions are not against forum rules. Personal insults ARE. And yes I will cry like a child because i see a huge double standard here.

Hence why I said I'd prefer housecleaning.

But if Rivera ends up staying, we need someone who can do a better job of roster building to compensate for his weaknesses. That's basically how we won when Gettleman was here.

I've come to understand that winning as much as we did with Ron Rivera as our head coach was a much bigger accomplishment than any of us actually knew.

That's the damn truth. We've won a lot in spite of Rivera (and Shula, Washington, Norv, etc)

Cam was always viewed as just an athletic QB, who couldn't learn the playbook and system. Listen to what Herman Edwards said he heard about Cam. It starts at about the 20 second mark. It's time for Cam to go.

Another zombie account that hasn't posted for five years. Welcome back man

Just kidding, leave again
