Jackson won me over last night

If there's one thing that can be said about last night was the play of the secondary. Jackson won me over last night and it took this long. DLine created pressure up the middle but just never truly broke free. They all played like their jobs are on the line last night. Cam played like it was a Friday at 4PM at his 8-5 job. McCaffrey is the future of this franchise. Either way, Jackson played lights out.

He won me over back in training camp, it shouldn't have taken it this long to win you over. Keep in mind he's a rookie that was pretty inexperienced even at LSU, yet he's started every game and played at an above average level consistently.

This.  Kid has been balling all season and all the warnings about his mouth being a "Normanesque" problem have amounted to nothing.

Heck, even his costly PI was a veteran hook job that just went a little far.

Jackson has impressed me all throughout the season. The mistakes he's made so far are simply rookie mistakes. I wouldn't be surprised if Ron (yes, he'll be back) decides to switch him with James & let Donte be our #1 CB.

I don't think it's even as simple as #1 / #2 CB's.  I think you use your CB's to match up.  Why would you put Donte on a tall #1?  Doesn't make sense.  Why put Bradberry on a short, quick #1?  Again, doesn't make sense.  You have two decent NFL CB's.  Match them up intelligently against the opposing WR's.

Oh, and somebody get us a slot corner.
