Eric Reid on another drug test

From the document that keeps getting brought up:

"If either Party asks the Independent Administrator for explanation of his/her decision to place a Player on reasonable cause testing based on credible information, he or she will promptly and fully provide the explanation to the Parties."

I imagine if Reid was subject to increased testing based on "credible info," he would have already requested that "credible info" by now and we would know about it...

...Can't wait for the poo reply that follows.

Using a cumulative binomial probability calculator, those numbers work out to a 0.17 percent chance of Reid getting randomly selected at least six times in 11 chances, according to the NFL’s rules. That’s a 1-in-588 chance. Reid would have a better chance at correctly guessing a coin flip nine times in a row.

Considering Reid and the NFL’s relationship, hitting on those odds that often is quite convenient for a league likely looking for any reason to make Reid go away.

Definitely a black eye on the NFL.. Just from a personal perspective I had piss in the bottle a many of a time in the military so I didn't question it too much.. except I had a few instances where I went 2x's in a week.. then I was like WTF.. long story short they were after a certain individual but they had to pull by certain digits in the SSN..and certain person in question had the same last digits.. so same personnel were being hammered for piss test..great times

Same here and it was supposed to be random names chosen. Unfortunately somehow your name was always connected with the random names. Only thing different was the others that were in for same thing were new faces but yours lol.

I figure if we can survive.. If he's truly clean then Reid needs to suck it up for the money he's making and just pee in the bottle.. And continue his stance against the NFL. which is BS.. I am glad Carolina signed him

Not in the least.

The NFL does not conduct or control the testing protocol --- an Independent Administrator, MUTUALLY selected by both the NFLPA and NFL, calls all the shots....pull your head out of the sand fella...

I am not an Ostrich but thanks for the advice.. Just was relating my pee in the bottle experience.. how it can become not so random..and u aren't doing poo... but drinking a poo lot of water to piss in a bottle for Uncle Sam or Mr Goodell

Your "pee in the bottle experience" is 100% irrelevant to the topic at hand.

Pee in the Bottle = Drug Test.. not !00% irrelevant cuz .. they could do it by blood.. then my percentage would be off and u would be right.. but the damn point is the NFL is after Reid which is BS.. I was happy when we signed him.. I haven't been able to see every game... but from what I hear I think he's worth another year

If I were the Panthers and Reid, I would piss and moan (very sexual moans) at every test and all off season.

    • Agreed on the last part. They can’t afford to lose all these games with Martin and Perets.
    • Yes.  And this converts directly to confidence.  Does the coach have confidence to call a deep dig or seam route?  Does Bryce have confidence in his ability to be the Alpha?  Do his teammates have confidence.  About film--when I see Cam Newton's pre-snap confidence vs. Bryce's, it is night and day.   Film--tells you if the WRs are open (why l love watching the Replay telecasts from the end zone cameras--you can see it.  I have seen 2 WRs open and Bryce's eyes are on the outlet WR or the pass rush. )  You can see progressions, and he has improved a bit--but he is very quick to rush through 1 and 2 and checkdown--that is a lack of confidence in his ability to read the defense.  I had a former NFL TE (Deems Maye) who played QB in high school (not sure about college) tell me that the best QBs read the defense by knowing where everyone will be when the ball is to arrive--not where they are.  I think his QB at the time was Humphries.  He said that Humphries would throw the ball into coverage before the cuts etc.  because he understood DB momentum, zone areas, etc.  and he could just see it.  Said so when people say nobody was open, they are usually right because nobody should be "open" when the QB has the ball--when the ball arrives, everyone should be open.  He said Humphries was never "great" but his skills were limited--from a small school--but his ability to read a defense made him never give up on a route.
    • People here get mad when I tell them I prefer Miracle Whip over Dukes
