Throwing to Funchess on the fade to end the half was a crucial part of this game.  The guy is absolutely worthless, and one decent thing out of this game is that he will be gone unless he accepts the veteran minimum.  Just so worthless and has the heart of a potato.  Wish it weren't true, but Devin is one of the softest guys in the league

It's Funchess job to high point that pass. Look at Thomas from the Saints if you need to understand. Throw was where it needs to be to be caught.

How the fug do you high point a pass that the defender had to come back to? If the pass had gone to the back pylon, there might have been a chance.

I've rewatched that a few times. For a QB throwing that route to a 6'4 WR, that pass should have been higher so Funchess could get it away from the CB. Funch didn't help himself, but Cam definitely had poor placement given the 1-on1 sideline endzone route. I hate to blame Cam, but that INT is on him more than Funch.

Funchess didn't even try to come back to it though.  Yes, it wasn't the best pass, but you have to be able to adjust.  Funchess is soft, and thank god he will be gone.  Hands like stone too

If you throw it to the back it sails and goes incomplete. Anyone with any real football experience knows this. Funchess should have came back to it like about 10 other balls this year but like always he's lazy or his back hurts or whatever.

Funchess was a serviceable #2/3 receiver from his rookie year until the lions game.  I dont know wtf happened all of a sudden.  

That throw was not his fault though.  It was underthrown right to the DB.
