Ron Rivera Will Use Cam's Injury to Prevent Himself From Being Fired

Convince me otherwise.

Cam played terrible. He will be better next year. I am ok with Carolina keeping River but he has to call defensive plays or get a decent DC. By the way, outside of the huddle 80 percent of the fans are also.

I have to give Ron credit for actually getting the Defense ready to play tonight. You have to wonder what could've happened if he took over for Washington after the  Steelers game. I think Rivera will be retained, but Hurney will be fired and team will be completely different with 27 upcoming FAs.

This is exactly why Ron needs to be fired..

A good coach would have known to take over the defense after the Steelers game..

I was blown away by the defensive performance. Ron called a good game. However how much of that was our key players playing inspired football? KK showed up, so did Reid, TD, Jackson and Bradberry.   And obviously without Luke being a QB/MLB we would have been toast. We might be glossing over the fact that just maybe the players took this one game personally. We will see with the remaining the schedule.

I hope Ron gets blasted by the media and shamed into putting Cam on IR.

Im completely convinced at this point that this guy is just not that smart. I think something painfully has gone unnoticed about coaches who were former players. The game is just viewed different by them. The analysis and decision making is just not something than comprehend from a coaching standpoint. This guy just has no clue what to do in crucial situations. He cant lead this ship.

If he uses that front but doesn't sit him after the season is lost when he clearly needs to meet up with Dr. Andrews, then I don't know what to say.  Tepper better put his gd foot down this offseason. I'm tired of the deflecting, grandstanding, and just all around BS with this franchise.  Mediocrity is a slow hole to wither away in. Can we not be a Bengals-NFC?
