Newton isn't Superman. He's very human, and also very injured.

You can debate the why, the how and the wherefore if you want to. It doesn't really matter.

The bottom line is we thought the problem was fixed and it isn't. If he has another offseason surgery, what guarantee is there that fixes it?

So bottom line, I absolutely agree that the organization should do everything it can to try and help Newton recover.

I also believe that we should make contingency plans in case he doesn't.

Not at all what I said. Although I see why that might be what it comes off as.

Cam played badly, no doubt. But who decides what to put on that field every week?

Our qb is obviously injured, and it has become almost a common occurrence to put him on the field regardless. 

Who decides to put an injured player, a player that still play his best despite, and takes no accountability afterwards?

Cam's obviously hurt enough that we can't put up a functional drive on offense. He shouldn't be playing and that's because Ron cares more about his immediate job security than keeping his QB upright and healthy. 

THAT said. I do think Cam has got complacent with his game. He should have been aware of the clock before half. He doesn't have DA here to bounce off of anymore or anyone to really push his skills. All of our passes are read option, PA, or screens. That stuff is getting worn out. My fear, injury or not is that we have catered so much to Cam's strengths that we have stunted his growth in other areas of being a QB.

We don't have a true #1 WR I get that. Olsen is done. I get that. But damn DJ Moore, Curtis Samuel, Thomas(who had drops tonight), Wright, are decent targets.  Cam must not have the confidence to make NFL throws right now, and if that's the case he needs to be on IR. Because it's sad to watch right now. I hate criticizing the dude because he's one of my favorite players and I defend him to death.
