Draft Will Grier

This QB class is a load of turd. No.

Lock and that Duck are about it but they even look meh.

I don't even see a backup. Maybe the Miss State guy or Auburn QB. The kids from Michigan are awful.

Even if we were at a juncture to look for someone this class is a hard pass.

Anyone thinking drafting a quarterback will be some quick fix needs to realize the Panthers aren't a stacked team like the Rams, Eagles, or Chiefs. There's not going to be a huge influx of talent suddenly because a rookie quarterback comes on board. Cam's salary isn't even much compared to most quarterbacks, cutting him won't suddenly mean the Panthers can bring in talent.

Yep.  Looking long term, we basically have Luke and Donte on defense.

Offense, there's more pieces...CMC, Turner, Moton, Moore, Samuel, Thomas

    • They reached for Pickett, so they are not immune to it.  I could see that as well.  I just think the Colts are flying under the radar and they have been too quiet concerning their QB situation--of course, they could think Jones is their guy (they had a good one named Jones a long time ago) but I think they are done with the Richardson experiment.   Even if I believed in Jones, I would still draft a QB--I also read one mock that said the Jets would take Sanders if he falls to 7---I disagree, but I was once wrong and it still bothers me.
    • I just switched to prime video with fanduel south. Will I be able to watch the Canes playoff games still?
    • I mean, you can use that "logic," but the problem is that most practice squad players, backups or average guys don't put the play on film that Wharton did when given their opportunities.  Perhaps you'll end up right, but I don't think that just because a guy has been in a rotation makes him inherently less productive because he gets more snaps. I will say that the KC fans I've seen on social media loved him, and considered him their second best DT,  regardless of his "rotational" status, and generally considered him a dawg, so I'm going to give him the benefit of doubt until he shows otherwise.
