Man, this season. Cam has a great first half, despite a healing shoulder, then everything falls apart the second with the defense putting a historically pathetic effort, his patchwork offensive line going to shambles, getting Cam hit one too many times, then putting his shoulder over the edge. Then we have this pathetic fanbase.

One bad half of a season, and we have Panther fans insisting Cam is traded or just straight up cut. Seriously? Do they understand how difficult it is to find a franchise quarterback? Instead of giving Cam a chance to heal, instead you would rather roll the dice in an awful quarterback draft? You are basically committing to a full team rebuild at that point. By the time the Panthers do find a quarterback (let's say in four years, even without development — assuming the Panthers don't become the new Browns) you're going to have maybe a couple players from this entire roster left. That's ludicrous, unless of course you would rather enjoy watching the Panthers be bottom feeders for years, instead of having a chance to compete, and if that's the case then maybe it's not about Cam's ability to throw, but something else.
