How would you feel about Tepper if Rivera keeps his job?

Since Ron is likely to have 19 or 20 wins the last two seasons, and Hurney is likely to be out on his ass, I would be glad the owner isn't as reactionary as the generally ignorant fan base.

I would lose almost all faith in Tepper as an owner who wants to win. Ron's body of work isn't just this year, it's the past eight years. That is more than enough time to evaluate a coach.

What if JR put in the sale negotiations that Rivera can not be removed as head coach until his contract is up in 2020 as a way to protect Ron and his boy Marty?

Only way for this to work is hire an assistant head coach for crucial game decisions, player personnel and clock management, let Norv (or whoever is at OC) have full control of the offense, and regulate Ron to defensive play calling only. Basically demote Ron to DC.

I'm not sure. Do I think that we should replace RR, yes, I also think that RR is technically a good coach, probably a better DC than HC though. To me, he doesn't have the killer instinct to be HC. Players take on their coaches mentality and RR is a little to nonchalant, to the point where losing and mistakes are accepted. But in the end, regardless of how I feel, I'll still be a Carolina Panther fan wishing for a Super Bowl...

You can't dictate personnel decisions to someone buying a team.

Stupid, inconsequential sh-t like the statue, yeah. Things that actually affect team performance? Not allowed.
