and he failed miserably and was the laughing stock of every nfl fan and sports show.  he has never been  a coordinator has he?  so if he doesn't get a hc job he has no way to move 'up'?  i don't think anyone is gonna ask him to call plays.

Yeah. None of that's actually true.

Campbell's name is on pretty much every head coaching candidate list I've seen. Chris Ballard was blown away with his interview for the Colts job but ended up hiring Frank Reich (another guy I wished we'd get).

Assembling a staff is part of the huge concern with hiring a guy with no NFL experience. Especially coming from a non-powerhouse school. The coaches at powerhouse teams almost always have a lot of NFL contacts simply because they constantly have NFL prospects on their team. Campbell would certainly not be getting top flight NFL assistants to come work for him.

when has Ron ever cared about a competant staff?

yeah it is dude.  he was meme life before meme life existed.  how do you not remember?  he was a joke.  he was schiano on roids and the laughingstock of the nfl and every sports show. and please answer me this, has he ever been a coordinator?  and you keep bringing up his amazing interview with the colts.  did he get that job?  no, he frikkin didn't.  so, you know how incredible his interview really was?   not that.  you got 2 articles that mention he doesn't even know x's and o's and you want him to be our coach.  i really can't understand that.

Doubt it, but either way there is, quite possibly, no sillier reason to knock a coach than to say that he was made fun of by sports talk / internet / fans in general.

Add in that not being a coordinator doesn't mean much. Andy Reid was never a coordinator. Ron Rivera was. Which one would you rather have?

Campbell compiled a 5-7 record as interim head coach of a terrible Dolphins team. I'll take that added to the talk of people who actually know football rather than fans any day.

well i sure as hell hope he's not our next coach.  he is clearly not a mentally stable man, that was shown in his hc gig.  why do you think miami didn't retain him?  do you remember?  i'll give you a hint.  its because he's crazy.  its hard to believe he got another job in the nfl.  i would bet even money he got the gig in new orleans because he has connections to very shady ped dr's from miami.   that would be right in payton's wheelhouse.
