My Way Too ,Early, First 2019 Mock Draft

Literally the first sim I've run for the next season. No trades, just picking the best available for our needs. Obviously Bosa wont drop that far unless he's got some serious medical concerns, but stranger things have happened. More realistically , replace Bosa with Ferrell or Sweat or something.

I think its less about realism and more about getting a feel for the type of players I'm wanting us to draft. Its pretty safe to say we're drafting somewhere in the middle of the pack unless we win out.

Round 1 Pick 15: Bosa, Nick, DE, Ohio State (A+)
Round 2 Pick 15: Bryant, Austin, DE, Clemson (A)
Round 3 Pick 14: Biadasz, Tyler, C, Wisconsin (A+)
Round 4 Pick 15: Tell III, Marvell, FS, Southern California (A+)
Round 5 Pick 15: Dixon, DCota, SS, Wisconsin (A+)
Round 6 Pick 14: Gray, Derwin, OT, Maryland (A+)

Not a chance Bosa sniffs outside the top 5

Bryant is a confusing one and im starting get the feeling he is Kevin Dodd 2.0. Solid athlete who is looking good die to the other stars around him.

The Wisconsin kid would be a real nice pickup.  Any of those Wisconsin OL in the draft this year id take at OG/C

Tell is a interesting one who I Really want to keep up with in all the workouts/combines etc.  After last season, many thought he'd be a first round guy and in conversation for top safety in this draft.

like i said, its not really about realism and more about familiarizing myself with the players i would like us to draft

I mean, not to be a dick, but who doesn't want Bosa?

Looking positionally--I'd be down for Front-7 with our first 3 picks.  DL, DL, LB/DL

I agree but you’d be surprised. EVERY 2013 Mock draft i saw all year had Star going number 1. Strange things can happen

In recent memory Laremy Tunsil and Reuben Foster are examples of steep falls for players who were widely considered top 10 level picks .

Look at their situations though

Huge red flags on both players.

Tunsil came out and said he and his parents received $$ along with other stuff from the Ole Miss coaching staff.  Along with the bong gas mask on draft night etc.

Foster has all sorts of stuff that came up.  Got booted from the combine.  Sure there was other stuff that threw up redflags that we didnt know about (look at him now, there was stuff going on)

Barring something medical popping up or a serious off-field incident or a failed IQ test (positive drug test at the Combine) there's no chance Bosa slips outside the top 5. He may go #1 overall.

Marvell Tell is trash. He's a track guy trying to play football. He's just not a football player. Zero instincts at a position where instincts are absolutely vital.
