He overran a lot of stuff up the field. Maybe he was trying to compensate for the DT's. But he would start running upfield though one gap and the RB would just hit the next gap and Beason would have to start backpeddling.

Beason doesn't tackle as well with a Guard pushing him out of the play.

I agree that Beason had an off night. The one short-yardage touchdown across the middle, Beason looked like a deer in headlights...frozen. He should have been in coverage. Before you jump me, NOBODY has been geeked about Beason the way I have; I think he's great!! Just had an off night is all...it happens. I don't blame any ONE for the loss. Both teams left a few plays on the field. The Gmen made a few more when they had too, that's all.

I don't think his illness had anything to do with his play. Considering Beason was getting blocked all the time by linemen cause Kemo wasn't in there to keep them off Beason...Beason still played a good game all things considering.

The biggest thing I remember was that ball bouncing off Jon's hands, INT would have hopefully sealed the game.

when you look at all the individual breakdowns and see we lost in overtime with having a chance to win it in regulation there are a lot of positives to take from last night. there should be some confidence in that locker room considering the game that was played with what was out and sick.
