Browns are a totally different team this year. Who knows what happens if they start winning early next year, especially with Ben getting old and Ravens D getting old and Cinci being an unknown.

Yeah, it really is a nice change of pace, and I'd say the browns fans deserve it

There was no reason to go for it on 4th and 1. Browns could have gone up 4 points and forced Broncos to get a TD to win.

Stupid stupid stupid. Now the Ponies can win with a field goal with time expiring.

Older fans may recall: John Fox pulled off a similar stunt at Dallas in 2003. They were down 7, under 4min, and faced 4th and goal from around the 10yl. Fox opted for FG.

He said later (paraphrasing) that he felt they could get a stop and then go downfield again to score a GW TD. He also noted that it was 4th/G a full 10 yards out.

So, you can make one 10yd play to tie the game, or, reduce a TD lead down to a lead that still requires another long TD drive, while also hoping several other variables fall perfectly into place in order to even touch the ball again.

As great a year as that was, I’ll never forget that moment. Woefully inept, prehistoric strategy.

Texans need that bye week if they hope to go the Super Bowl

Don't want to go to KC or NE in January

Pats Steelers is huge for the AFC. If Pats lose that they are likely 3 seed which means they have to play 3 times before the SB for the first time in forever and probably 2 away games. In other words, they'd have no real shot at making the SB...

Yea, we have Saturday games near the holidays just in case you may have forgotten.

Jets vs Texans 4:30PM

Browns vs Broncos 8:20PM

Not the most exciting matchups , but its football. We have 2 days of games till we play on Monday Night.

Both turned out to be good games--The Browns game was great.

Williams calls timeout when his QB got the Broncos to jump into the neutral zone--something that would have sealed the game for Cleveland.  Dumbass. They still managed to hang on.  I am pulling for the Browns and Colts in the AFC and think both will get wins this week.

In the Pickem competition, I have struggled this season.  However, I picked the Browns and the Chargers to win.  I am 3-0 this week.  Take that, people who are ahead of me--most of you.

I wouldn’t want any part of Cleveland. They’re formidable, and have fared well (even in ties and losses) against good teams.

They have a great deal of young talent too.

6-7-1 and with a shot at the playoffs--the Browns--in December.  Happy for them.
