Yeah we would. If I had the means to do it I'd get and end zone all 22 view of every throw he's ever made.

Tons and tons where his hips and feet are left. Which leads to shoulders left.

It's not always with guys at his feet.

NOBODY said he's perfect. Which QB is? The issue is /has/will be/ the fact that there are many "fans" that poo post in flood fashion, when he has ANY issue and are ghosts when he's playing well.

The reason Cam doesn't fix it is because he delusionally doesn't think he has to. He has always been the best athlete on the field his whole life. That's why he was able to get away with all these bad habits. In the NFL he isn't the best athlete on the field every week everybody is a great athlete. As you get older lack of fundamentals really start to bite you in the ass. Hopefully he'll realize this at some point.

So, either listen or hate, but Steve Smith is more right than wrong in my opinion when he analyzes football.

"Everybody wants to say 'His shoulder's the reason why he overthrew a six-foot-five wide receiver'. No: His footwork was the reason he overthrew a six-foot-five wide receiver," said Smith. "His footwork was the reason that (he missed Jarius Wright, who was open in the endzone. Or the back-shoulder throw that he threw a million miles per hour to Curtis Samuel. Footwork."

There's more!

As I've said recently, although I largely support Cam, and still want to see what he does with what I deem is great protection (at least on his blind side), I'm not going to be an apologist for sloppy footwork, missing reads, and especially bad decisions.

Been saying this since he was a rookie...It is a combination of 2 things.  His footwork goes bad when he breaks rhythm.  In addition, he does not anticipate WRs getting open well--he waits for them to get open and adds velocity.  When you add velocity with your feet wrong, the ball sails.  It magnifies the mechanical flaws.

I think Cam is just choking a bit in crunch time. And that's okay. You don't always win those plays. He's put the team on his back for years. He's allowed to make some mistakes. Ron's the one forcing him into these situations when our D is terrible and Cam's shoulder is weak. The overthrow on Funchess just looked like a pass made out of frustration. It didn't make any sense at all and I'm sure he wish he had it back.

CAM wants to be a football player first instead of a QB. Running read-option not only shortened his career but hindered his development as a passer.

Here's my thought on Cam's footwork. It comes from the line.  When he steps in and throws he hits his fingers on their helmets because they get pushed so far back in his face. So to prevent that he throws off back foot.  Two ways to stop this... Get a deeper dropback OR get better line play.  For whatever reason, the coaches don't see this or he doesn't see this.  But once he kept hitting those fingers on helmets he tries to avoid it.

cam's playing with a little bit of soreness, but like i said before, throwing darts in the 4th quarter and overthrowing WR's has nothing to do with a limp shoulder. Cam is simply not making the right reads when the game is on the line.

cam apologists will always try to find an excuse. I love cam to death, but truth be told, he's made some very poor decisions late in games that have cost a few games at least

Yeah.. I think I can agree. That Samuel throw was an absolute laser

Steve Smith also said DJ Moore runs good routes (he doesn't) and has a PhD in such.

I like him as a player. As an analyst he's been largely bad.

Also, the underthrow to Samuel. The pocket was literally collapsing and Cam had no room to step in. In fact, it's arguable most of his pockets he has have little room for "stepping in." Again Cam largely is a huge plus for offensive lines because he's capable of making insane throws off the backfoot.

Also Wright was not open lmao. Very tight window.
