(from Mason's minutes, Panthers.com- http://www.panthers.com/news/article-1/Minutes-Following-the-bouncing-ball/5d89651c-2b2d-4299-9cc9-ffbdcc3531a1)

of course, we also fumble the frequently, anyway.....

One aspect of Ron Meek's Defense, aside of pass defense, is stripping the ball. the Colts Defense was usually always among the leagues best at forcing fumbles. Hopefully they keep up the good work, and possibly increase their average of FF (2.2). and decrease the # of fumbles on offense.

But with success, also leaves room for improvement-- despite forcing the fumbles, we are 24th in recovering them, at only 34.6%. something the defense is still working on.

Meeks scheme Is to strip first, then tackle while you trying to strip. Thats why we have gave up some big plays. But that stat Is no surprise for a Meeks defense.

I have tried to strip while tackling a few times and it is very difficult. She usually gets away and locks the bathroom door.
