5-13 in the NFC South from 2016-18

There's no denying that some of our players simply aren't very good.

At the same time, it's painfully clear that guys are no longer buying into the distinct lack of accountability from this coaching staff.

Nothing to do now but hit the reset button.

Ron Rivera and his staff look like Mike Smith in Atlanta before they finally canned his ass.

Have you read anything else I’ve posted? Where the hell is there reveling?

What difference does it make if I’ve read your previous opinions or not? That has no bearing on this thread.

You are posting final division records with half the games to play simply because you’re but-hurt that your team has badly lost the plot of late. Your overall point and projection for these games maybe correct but it seems almost like you hope it happens. I sarcastically term this revelling.

Bottom line is as awful as we are playing our home record is still among the best in the league. We have 2 home games against teams with bad defenses. If you want to guarantee the win for our opponents that’s up to you. But it is factually wrong as of now. I choose to be an optimist.

To each his own I guess. I just don’t see what gives you reason to be optimistic about beating the Saints (HAHAHAHAHA) and the Falcons. At this point, given the evidence we have, predicting a loss every week is not pessimism, nor is it reveling. It’s just being realistic.

That’s a fair question so here is my answer. We haven’t been blown out in any of our recent losses. None of the last 4 by more than a touchdown. We’ve been scoring points and seemingly making catastrophic errors repeatedly after putting ourselves in great positions. It’s a divisional game which is an equalizer in itself. We are strong at home. As much as they look like they don’t care I doubt our players want to lose 6 in a row. ATL were just blown out at home by a weak GB team. NO lost to Dallas and we’re 14-3 down to TB in their last 2 games. Not as a fan but as betting man I like our chances at home to ATL and would give us a chance at home to NO. I wouldn’t be gobsmacked if we lost but I’m not ready to give up on watching them.

Fair answer, too. My reasoning is that we plan for close games and both sides of the  ball choke on a bag of dicks once the “quarter” sign on the scoreboard has a “4” under it.

Additionally, our biggest weakness of all others is our pass defense. The remaining teams we play count pass offense as their biggest strength.

It’ll take more than an act of God to win one of those.

Lastly, this is the worst defense we’ve fielded since 2001. It’s no wonder that we also end the season on a long losing streak just as we did then. The silver lining I guess is that in both seasons we discovered a playmaking rookie WR.

Reminder that our head coach 8 years into his job had to be basically forced to finally give playing time to Moore and Samuel.
