Also, you should cease with the Gettleman-got-rid-of-your-favorite-player point. I was never upset about him letting 89 walk, but how he did it, and I said as much way back when. Gettleman made crappy, eye-raising personnel decisions in regards to the draft and free agency, and that was my problem with him. His team building sucked! All your mental gymnastics aren't going to change that "objective fact."

The Bears defense is 3rd in scoring (19 ppg), but the Saints defense is not far behind in 10th in (21.8). That’s a far cry from “not great”.
