Is it time to play the rookie linebackers?

The Carolina Panthers have two rookie linebackers that made the final roster. Andre Smith and Jermaine Carter.

Should the Panthers now play these guys in the game and give them some much needed experience going into next season? Carter in particular has shown great aptitude.

If it keeps Luke from taking unnecessary hits, I'm all for it. Play Heinicke as well! Fug it, let Barner run the ball.

  • Go ahead and send Cam to the operating table--now, not in March.  Let's see what we have in St. Pauli's or Moosehead or whatever our backup QB is called.  Bring up Kyle Allen from the PS.
  • Move Reid to SS, Gaulden to FS.  Thank Adams for his career.
  • Play Smith and Carter, giving Davis and Thompson some breaks.
  • Cut Smith, Funchess, and bring up Kendrick Norton and Jason Vander Laan from the PS.
