1. Cam is not done.

Cam Newton is injured. His throwing shoulder requires surgery this winter. If you weren't aware, a shoulder is pretty much everything when it comes to throwing.

2. Ron won't be fired until January.

There isn't anyone to take the reins. Norv has been a head coach and doesn't want to be again. Washington would be even more of a nightmare.

3. The Panthers have a bright future.

We have some of the best young playmakers at skill positions this team has ever had. A but younger and hungrier on defense and this team will be rolling again quickly under new regime.

4. We can have fun now

All expectations are out the window. I plan on hoping for wins and enjoying my holiday season. You know, having a good time. Won't you join me?

Right on! my man ( mustache  voice)

Although I miss the game because I was traveling. I did happen to stop in Ohio if that’s any consolation .  Let’s be real people we all hope that we would have a good game but did we really think we were going to win ?  It’s OK lick your wounds and keep pounding  #pussyposse #We gone be alright

Rapoport: Newton "not expected" to have offseason shoulder surgery

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport has the latest on Panthers quarterback Cam Newton and his sore throwing shoulder

I mean they do have it posted on Panthers.com

https://www.panthers.com/video/rapoport-newton-not-expected-to-have-offseason-shoulder-surgery

They're not going to say "yeah he needs surgery" then trot him out on Sundays for opposing teams to target his shoulder.

So we go through the surgery/rehabilitation process on a shoulder while  we go through the hiring process for an entire staff. That's the theme on this board. Basically, we have to hope that the replacements can quickly identify cuts and FA targets that we can fit into an acceptable salary structure.  Now on top of that, we have our new coaches installing their new systems during the off=season while our starting QB is recovering and unable to participate. Nobody should have high expectations for 2019.

Skipper has HC experience. I know it isn't much but can get us through 3 games that most Huddlers don't give a crap if we win. Personally, I'd like to help the Saints have to play on the road to earn their way to the big game

A lot of change without the big guy to be part of the implementation on offense. Some old parts at all 3 levels of  the D in need of replacing. Finding replacements won't be easy, making sure they fit together even harder.

i don't want him gone until the season is over, but getting rid of mccarthy did help gb

Based on?

Total Offense was below their season average, Rushing was above. Defense was right at their average. It was a highpowered Falcons O but Green Bay was at home. I wouldn't call better based on that. They got the win ending w 3 game skid, -that's better than we did.

Umm I think ever team by now knows his shoulder is hurt lol .Hell he has said it is hurt  .

Im sure them saying he needs surgery or not will not stop teams from targeting his already hurt shoulder.

He had partially torn rotator cuff surgery on March 30, 2017 .Not looking good for him long term with that arm/shoulder , like the last time they are probably hoping rest and rehabilitation will solve the problem this offseason / Who knows

it's like back pain.  you can't explain that shite to anyone who's never 'thrown' their back out, and you don't have to explain it to anyone who has. they can tell by how you're walking.  shoulders are like that too.

You also have to look at it cumulatively.

Some folks watch Cam in the first few drives and say "See, he's fine."

But watch him in the second half, particularly the fourth quarter, and it's pretty obvious everything is not okay.

It's the same thing as watching an older veteran in week one and declaring that they've beaten Father Time. Wait until about week twelve and see if you still feel that way.

Is Cam still anti meds? Curious to know.
