Dude, have you forgotten the 2015 season? How many times has this coaching staff went soft and allowed teams to come back to either tie or take the lead, and Cam had to save their asses? Cam had a bad day, it happens. Plus, he's not healthy. Get him healthy and a line that can protect him and we'll see that 2015 Cam again.

nope, if you go look at my past post, I've always said except for the 15 season... although he wimped out on his own fumble

Cam isn't choking. He is the same guy who lead us to 6-2. But he is hurt and can't throw deep accurately anymore which is causing teams to not respect the deep pass and sit in out routes and over the middle. I would like to see Heinicke play and see what he can do. Fix Cam's shoulder and let's see what happens.

Eh, it was a tough decision to make. Go for the fumble and have a bunch of DE's & DT's jumping on you, probably intentionally try to hurt you, or hope one of your teammates get it. I don't blame Cam for not taking that chance.

I can't tell how much he is hurt.  I'm sure he is hurting in some way.  He played pretty damn well the first half but from what I saw, he choked in the 4th q on a number of throws.  At least that is how it appears.  Basically, when I see him throw off his back foot resulting in throws that sail or come up short or throw passes too hard for the receivers to catch or react to, then he is either being lazy or pressing.    I don't know which but we had a some good opportunities to win and the plays weren't made.  You can always blame it on the other guy.  I love Cam and want him to succeed but I've got to call it like I see it and I think he was a big part of the problem in the red zone today.

Lot's of other problems too though and I don't think Cam is even close to being a top ten problem.

Exactly. It was the SB, so why risk getting hurt in the most important game of his career? He knew if he went out, that's it. My guess is that Cam was thinking, even if Denver got the ball, there's still a chance the defense could force a turnover or hold them to a FG, but as long as he was in the game, they still had a chance to comeback and win.

you really think Cam thought all of that in a split second ? no, it was show time... if there is a fumble , you try to recover the ball... especially if its your own fumble... a lot of people make excesses for him.. he wimped out... he was scared
