Lots of tough decisions to be made. Coming into the year, Luke said this was the best linebacking corps he had ever been part. Now, they are facing the prospect of having to replace two of the three starts at LB.

Man we made some really bad decisions in the draft

The Butler (outright bust) and Shaq (disappointment) picks especially hurt because they were luxury picks at the time. We were deep and talented st thosse positions when those picks were made. They were made for the future. Now is that future and they're just not good enough. Meanwhile, we ignored obvious immediate needs to take these guys because evidently we just felt THAT good about them. Ouch.

Turns out Gettleman wasn’t such a great talent evaluator after all. He sure fooled me.

He will be cut easily and he saves us 9 mil. We will likely spend our offseason on reshaping the defense through FA and the draft. Going to be exciting trying to rebuild this defense around Kuechly.
