Bradberry’s played behind a statistically ranked top 10 front 7 since he’s been drafted. He’s been part of statistically one of the worst pass defenses since he’s been drafted.

The comparison still isn’t really aptly used here. But whatever.

Cam's played behind statistically ranked top 10 lines throughout his career too and he's had his ups and downs.

Just because the stats say top 10 doesn't mean it's true.

Our D-Line has been lacking since 2015, we all know it. Pressure has had to be generated through blitzing ever since we lost Hardy, our front 4 aren't what they used to be, and certainly aren't great this year.

Still yet, we trash Bradberry for not being Richard Sherman when he has been a damn decent CB for us since he was drafted. The majority of Damage done against us since we got him has not been against him, it's been against guys like Seymour, Benwikere, Worley, and Gunter. Julio had that monster Game against us after Bradberry went down, Bradberry held his own against him each time they play.

Listen, I don't think he's a number 1 guy necessarily, but I do believe he is a solid #2 that we are lucky to have, especially if Jackson continues to improve on his impressive rookie campaign. He's not our biggest problem on our defense by any stretch of the imagination, and I would like to bring him back again when his contract runs out. We can do a lot worse than him in our secondary, hell, we have done a lot worse recently.

He's not a bust but he's not great. He's decent and I'm ok with it.

Teams with legit cover corners dont need to double good receivers.

To be honest, doubling team’s top receivers is something Rivera has done his entire time here in Carolina. Why do you think we never addressed the secondary? Always signing guys off the streets to play corner and safety.

Lol.  Riveras defense is primarily a zone, cover 2 defense.  It doesn’t call for double teams.  Each man is assigned an area of the field to cover.  We rarely double team receivers in press coverage.
