Source?

Also, who’s Bradyberry?

Not sure where a link is

Ill backuo the OP.  There was some NFL guy on WFNZ yesterday talking about the Panthers woes.  1 thing he mentioned in his segment that Bradberry was around 32nd ranked CB the last few weeks and given up the most yards among starting CBs the last few weeks

*note* He didnt blame Bradberry for the blame of the Defense.  Spent most of the time Ragging on the DL, but did mention that blurb on Bradberry

Typical.  Listen, here's the thing.  Maybe JB is the "32nd ranked CB the last few weeks".  But how many CB's were ranked?  If you ranked three out of every team over that time period, then with JB ranked "32", you could say that "JB was among the top third of NFL CB's over the last few weeks".

Stats are completely crap without context.

hes ranked as the worst corner in the nfl , its almost an easy completion every time they throw to him . he cant cover fast receivers . do you still got hope in him next season? because i dont

I wouldn't call him a bust but he does have some more maturing to do.  He's defended some pretty good WR's this year.

Considering he was a low 2nd round pick,  hes provided decent value. Especially considering no one else from that draft has panned out (Vernon Butler,  Dayrll Worely,  Zach Sanchez,  Beau Sandland) . Hes probably the only decent pick out of what might be the worst draft in franchise history.  .

He doesnt appear to be a number 1 CB because he absolutely lacks ball skills and never turns his head around.  He usually though does a good job at locking up the opponents number 1 big wr so thats a pretty valuable skill.

Bradberry was drafted to be zone cb--but last year, we blitzed SO MUCH, it stressed the DBs, making them look bad quite a bit. Everyone said he was a bust, but I remained firm that he is a decent to good CB.  He is only 25, faces the opposition's #1 WR most of the time, and rarely gets beat deep.  For those who think 2017 was a bust year, there is this:

Impressive to keep the opposition's #1 WR to a 56% completion rate--yet the Huddle ate him alive. Our FS sucked last year.  Our #2 CB and Nickel sucked last year, but Bradberry weathered the storm fairly well.  Know your football, folks.

Bradberry plays well against tall and slower receivers. He gets burned just about everytime vs small speedy receivers.

That’s Rivera’s fault more than anyone.  He should recognize matchup issues and adjust as needed.  It’s simply not fair to have a slower corner cover a fast WR.

Not a bust, but definitely limited as a player. Very poor ball-skills lack of recovery speed (hence poor 40) = Bradberry

Honestly, Bradberry’s measurables with Jackson’s...everything else would make an absolute unicorn of a player.
