I'm so amazed by these "injuries" that pop up.  Every time a player plays like ass, they somehow go to Narnia for injury.  Kevon Seymour, matt kalil, Torrey smith, devin funchess and now gano.  These guys weren't on the injury report and finished their prior games, then all the sudden they're out.

If you are going to sass Marty Hurney ( I I'm all for it), at least be accurate.

Butker has missed 5 kicks this year.

4 extra points, and 1 field goal.

Gano has missed 3 extra points, and 1 field goal.

Problem is, Butker has attempted 55 extra points, to Gano's 33 extra point attempts.

4/55 or 3/33?

Also you are somewhat wrong on the contract status, he signed a 2 year deal with KC, his rookie deal was nixed when he was cut here.

However, he would have been under contract here for the 19 and 20 season, with a total cost of $1.4M for both combined.  Gano is going to cost us $3.7M next year alone...unless we cut him like we should, and he would cost us $4.6M not to play for us.

If any of you are curious as to why a lot of us older posters hate Hurney, this is a pretty good glimpse.

  It’s a lack of understanding where value lies in every contract. 

  Why pay Torrey Smith 5M when you can cut him and resign him for half that. Or not and save all of it. Took the best part of his contract(no dead money) and didn’t use it. 

  Why pay CJ Anderson money, not play him, then spend MORE money to cut him and get worse at the position. 

And that’s just 2.0
