Kelvin to Chiefs

Oddly enough, was just talking to some friends yesterday after one of them wanted KB to OAK. I suggested KC being a better fit where he can be a redzone specialist while also having a QB with a cannon that can squeeze the football into windows. Also felt that Reid would be the best possible coach to work with KB given Reid's success with headcases.

Hope that he figures things out. It is a shame what he could have been here if he hadn't collapse inward.

Sorry, not buying. Kelvin was a question mark coming out of college. That means bad habits had started to form before he was even drafted. The hope was, he would use that knock on him as motivation to become a better professional. To his credit, he was awesome his rookie season. But the next offseason, he ballooned and then hurt his knee. Hasn't been the same since.

I just don't get the feeling that football is Kelvin's #1 priority, and that's okay. But he needs to stop lying to himself and find out what his passion really is. This ain't it.

Indictment on our coaches? Sure, they are rightfully taking some heat right now, but tell me how many former Panthers have moved on from Carolina to see their careers then really take off?

Butker, aj Klein come to mind right now.. not to mention in those revenge games whoever we let go beats us into the ground. Smitty torched us, Norman picked us and kelvin had the go ahead td from peterman in the revenge preseason game.

Butker? You're coming at me with Butker?

Well, you really got me there!

LaFell could have been a decent argument, but his career has been mediocre, at best, but still much better than when he was with Carolina. I'd venture that Norman has been worse as a Redskin than he was a Panther. AJ Klein is...okay, but I don't regret letting him go. He had no place to play here.

I am waiting for an example of someone who IMPROVED once they left Carolina. None of those listed are an example.

you cant. Deangelo had a decent season filling in for Bell, but it wasnt like 08 or 09 Deangelo. I dont count guys like Evan Mathis or Gary Barnidge who just needed a shot and didnt get one here

Ginn has had success as well. Torching us. But what you really asking doesn’t happen anywhere really unless ur team is just bad at evaluating talent. Good teams don’t let good players walk unless age and injuries or off the field issues catch up to them.
