    Great work. 

  My only issue is we have a bunch of OLBs/Box safeties trying to cover the deep third. Who is starting at FS next year. 

   Another possible win-win. New coaches bring change. We desperately have to improve our athleticism and coverage ability across the DEF. What if you could sign Collins for 4/40M and Ried for 3/12M as  our starting OLBs? Turn their one weakness into a strength by limiting who they cover to TEs and RBs.Keep them far away from WRs. 

  Reid or Collins could play SS in nickel.

I can go along with Horton, but Love is quality depth that is very cheap. I think we keep him, especially if we cut Poe and Butler, as Bron suggested. While I agree that we need to bolster our secondary, I think that Gaulden is the wildcard here. He looked promising early, then disappeared. Is he a safety or a nickel next season??  I really want to use up some draft picks in the trenches, both O-line and D-line! We need a tackle (how soon depends on Williams), a center, a DT, and certainly a DE!

I'm thinking Gaulden replaces Mike Adams. I hope Panthers resign Daryl so that we can move Moton to LT and have two solid Tackles. We would only have to replace Ryan Kalil and add another G

 A lot of mocks also suggesting that we need a C. I get it. I would love to see us draft one but is it a priority? Tyler Larsen played for 9 games there last season and did fine. In a pinch Van Roten can play there too. Now you can argue that RKalil is better as much as you like or that we need a young guy even as a redshirt, but I’m seeing a team that has a lot of holes. I would prioritize DE, T, S even CB first on the basis that we can succeed well enough with Larsen at C.

Actually, I'm feeling pretty good about guard. IMO, Van Roten and Turner are damned good starters, Larsen is solid depth, and Mahon seems to have a poo ton of potential. If we draft a ready-to-go center in the first 3 rounds(or get a decent FA), we're set. If we have to start Larsen at center, then, yeah, we might need another guard. I do agree that if Williams had stayed healthy, this O-line would look entirely different. And by different, I mean better!

After this weekend, I think the writing is on the wall as far as Butler goes.

Also, I would agree that we'll likely bring in someone at QB3. But, I still think the backup spot is Heinicke's to lose.

thread needs sticky tbqh - tired of seeing multiple threads about cap space, cuts, FA, draft, etc. already, and the offseason hasn't even begun yet... I clearly laid out our cap status, potential cuts, free agents, potential targets...
