The way he plays, I always thought his decline could start much earlier than other QBs.  He has take a ton of hits.  I am not suggesting a decline is underway, but I worry that it could be happening soon.

Reporter:  Why didn't you try to run him down?

Cam:  Because coach has told me repeatedly that it's too risky to make those tackles...only time I'm supposed to do that is during the playoffs.

I said this in another thread but the timing on our injuries leaves me suspicious. Kalil gets destroyed in a  preseason game and all of sudden, we hear about his knee. Funchess drops a bunch of passes against Detroit and all of sudden, we hear about his back. Cam throws four pics against Tampa, and all of sudden, we hear about his shoulder. At this point, I'm surprised we haven't heard of some new injury to Gano.

I mean Cam has been suffering soreness since the surgery. The interceptions isn't the point, in the Ravens game he asked to come out before throwing a hail mary and I knew right then, it was an issue. Without a deep passing game opening the field much more, a lot of defenders are going to be siting down on routes. We also played a division opponent, someone who we just beat down a few weeks ago. They made good adjustments. I give them credit and we suck at this moment

Not a good sign when taking a league average amount of hits forces your QB to the Surgeon's table on something he re-injured.

Could be a Tony Romo type of situation unfolding.
