Olsen put on IR

Olsen has been placed on injured reserve,  his season is done. He's been practically injury free throughout his career. 

WR Mose Frazier promoted from the practice squad and WR DeAndrew White was signed to the practice squad.

The Panthers made an additional practice squad move, signing safety Kai Nacua and releasing cornerback Josh Thornton.

Knew when I saw him pull up lame without even hitting anybody that it was bad.

Got a sad feeling that game is going to be the last time we see him in a Panther uniform. Lousy ending to a great career, but in the NFL happy endings are definitely not the norm.

At this point,  I'd put him there as a pass catching TE. Just bump the defender and get open. I wonder if the coaches will do it?

Yeah, I felt the same way,  especially when I realized that it was the same foot. Great TE, I'd love to see him back in Panther Blue at 100%.

I'm not sure he has 100% anymore.

Jason Witten was a phenomenal player but he's a lousy commentator.

Yeah but if he can just chip the defender, he'll be able to get open for a quick hitter in the flats for a pick up of 5.

I feel for Greg. The guy has always had a passion for the game and came so close to winning the big one. Of course, we could say that for many of our vets like TD and Kalil as well.

Best trade ever, gotta give Hurney those props every chance it comes up.  Greg was a great guy on the field and off.  Granted, he might feel short-changed on this season and come back for one more, but I'm expecting retirement and an awesome career in broadcasting after football.

True, but Greg is so much more cerebral and well-spoken than Witten. I honestly think he'll be a great addition to any broadcasting booth.

I think TE was already going to be high on the list of needs, but it maybe slightly higher now.
