Cam haters, what could we realistically get in a trade for Cam?

This is not going to happen, but what about...

Aaron Rogers has some nasty cap hits coming up.  GB has the 10th and 30th pick (as of now).  Trade Cam to the Packers for Rogers, and the two firsts.

We'd have 10, 16, 30, and 35-year old Rogers, who may be able to play 3-4 more years. I doubt GB would take that, but is that an offer we could refuse?

I don’t think it’s time to let Cam go but some of you guys are acting like unless the Panthers have Can they’re doomed. There are plenty of teams winning with a different QB.

The OP is admitting being a Cam fan NOT a Panther fan so it’s hard to take him seriously, at least for me.

There is going to come a day when Cam Newton is no longer the quarterback of the Panthers. That's inevitable. It's just a matter of when and how it happens.

Joe Montana was replaced. Brett Favre was replaced. Cam Newton will be replaced. Yes, it's difficult to replace a superstar, but it's not impossible.

MVP winning franchise QBs in their prime are NEVER traded, so nobody has any idea what the haul would or should be... I'd guess 2-3 first round picks plus multiple starter caliber players on rookie deals.

Jay Cutler wasn't an MVP but he was a franchise quarterback in his prime.

I don't really think it's probably either but we are dealing with an awful lot of wild cards.

Cutler and Alex Smith are comparable. Cam is multiple tiers above both, so not the best example...

It would be idiotic to trade Cam at this point because he's shown even with a bum shoulder that he can still be a very productive NFL QB.  If the Panthers are smart, they'll let him play out his contract and  draft a young QB in the next couple years for a future replacement.  I never thought Cam could play for 15 years in the NFL given how physical he plays.

Right. For them it’s, get rid of him now and we’ll worry about the rest later. Of course we’ll be sorry and irrelevant, but atleast they’ll have their team back and the fan base will be back to being “respectable.”

There is gonna be a lot of abandoned accounts on here the day cam leaves. A lot of folks will have no purpose on here anymore. Lol

Realistically speaking... Cam is almost 30 years old and with destroyed shoulder.  He is worth more to us than he does to everyone else.  I remember a huge number of Huddle was pro Delhomme when the game clearly left him.

If people think they will ever see again 2015 Newton, don’t kidd yourselves.  With below average arm strength and in 30s, Cam will be a game manager, similar to Alex Smith.  Game managers in current NFL with wide open offenses do not win.  Analytics, bitches.

You don't know that his shoulder is destroyed. He obviously isn't properly healed. He's nearing 30 in a game where QB's play into their mid 30's quite easily. He has the best physique at his position in the NFL. He's gonna be alright.

Delhomme could not throw at all at the end. He got exposed because he couldn't pull off his miracle throws anymore due to the elbow. And years of having Smith made him a lesser QB.
