C j Anderson on Raiders

At one point I thought he was a victim of Rivera's doghouse.

But with the way the Broncos were so quick to drop him like a hot potato even though he was coming off a 1,000 yard season, and how things went here with him eventually just getting in digs at our expense on social media, it's seems like there's more to it on his end when you realize the only team willing to offer him a contract is sitting on a 2-10 record.

In a locker room full of unique personalities, I could see him as being the very awkward one.  On his Twitch stream he seems to be a guy who isn't good in social situations and team situations...so I could see why they shipped him off.  What good it did?  no one knows since we've been 0-3 since he's gone ha.

I suppose he'll light it up with the raiders, right?

Why didn't we utilize him more? I think you look around at all the teams that could have used a good RB ....not necessarily desperate teams, even. Teams that could have had cheap and easy to acquire talent that could have strengthened their corps passed on him. We're they all just as stubborn as Norv? Or maybe he just isn't a good fit really anywhere systemwise or personality-wise.

I don't have anything against the guy, I just think with him you've got an odd fixture that worked great in one unique situation but is out of place everywhere else.

He didn't fit here and he just wasn't going to be used and he was so out of place here that we didn't even try to keep him around. The fact the only team he could get a job with is probably the biggest group of misfits in the league should help understand just how out of place he was.

It's quite possible I'm wrong about him, but I just think what was seen of him in Denver is all we'll really have seen of him the rest of his time in the league.

Gruden stockpiled a ton of picks for next season, they have 3 first round picks and more the following season etc.

so CJ can entrench himself there and can establish himself as the guy there or half of a committee.

its a great situation long term,
