Real talk, KB looked legit as a rookie, and after the injury and the loss of his mother man it just never seemed to get back in line for him. I'll never get past the Cam commentary ''literally any other QB'', but I do feel a little sorry for him as a person going through those things at the same time.

It's no exaggeration to say the death of a parent can be life altering. It also wouldn't be the first time the loss of a mother played a role in a soured relationship with the team (See: Williams, DeAngelo)

Two things:

A.) I will never forget every single beat writer saying how, entering his second training camp, Kelvin wasn't just the best player on offense. He was playing like the best player on the team. Now Hindsight being what it is who knows if that affects our 15-1 season as it may have forced Cam to not lock onto one target. But you have to feel bad for KB in that, that injury really derailed his promising young career.

B.) What a fuging trade by Hurney

That one probably should have remained unspoken.

No...

Care to further explain? What has Funchess ever achieved that Benjamin hasn’t.. Both struggle desperately to separate only Benjamin is better at what they both do well and that’s high pointing the ball. Benjamin has 1k season or under his belt funchess 0. So yes.

Continuing employment, for one.

Funchess will follow suit after this season.. his only advantage is still being on his rookie deal. He’s already practically 3-4th string.

Funchess will likely get another job. Benjamin might, but it's a lot less certain.

Lazy attitude is a huge red flag. Benjamin has that issue. Funchess doesn't.
