Usually when an o-lineman is looking at the ball, they don't know the snap count.

The center usually calls protections when he gets to the LOS. Doesn't happen with the Panthers because they don't get to the LOS with enough time to make adjustments.

The QB can kill or adjust a play based on his look at the D from the LOS. Doesn't happen with the Panthers because they don't get to the LOS with enough time to do anything but hear Cam's frantic hand-clapping as the play clock expires. 

Count on the Panthers to run whatever play was sent in by Norv. Regardless of how the defense stacks up in front of Cam.
