For the Cam doubters

People seem to forget about the St Brian Pierre days lol. I’m sure I got his name wrong but remember we called up a stay at home dad to play QB? Remember the David Carr experiment? Pickles? Franchise QBs don’t grow on trees. Cam has given his all to this fan base. He is a one of kind talent that you don’t see that often. Every QB misses and throws picks. It happens. I’m proud to say he is my QB

I like Cam, and always have. I've supported him for years while others talked pure poo about him. He is going to have to do better. We need to put a premium on his protection to erase the question marks, so that people can see him in the best position to excel and succeed. If not, the truth about Cam will never reveal itself (at least here).

I think a lot of fans apparently weren't around or forget about the dark years before Cam.

And somehow forgot the awesome years with Cam.

But yeah, there's a good sub section of the Huddle that get off to Cam having clunker games (which all QBS do). Not all QBs break records, get an MVP, are asked to do as much with so little as Cam.

So let these very intelligent posters tell on themselves and know the majority of us appreciate our generational, HoF QB.

1. Better than what, exactly? What is the criterion?

2. Absolute truth

3. What does this even mean???

Cam's shoulder isn't 100% and I hope he opts for surgery to correct it...that said though...

He's having the best year of his career passing wise, on a bum shoulder. We've put guys like Moore and Samuel around him, who aren't deep threats by trade, but YAC guys who can work short and intermediate routes.  Add in CMC...and I'd argue you don't even need bombs from Cam.  A 20-25 yarder every now and then to keep a defense honest, yes.  But the days of 40-50 yard bombs to Philly Brown and Ted Ginn are gone, and frankly not necessary for Cam to be successful.

Something is wrong with his shoulder and I want to know what it is and if it means sugrery he needs to start the process ASAP. No reason to play him in this wasted season when there will be a new coach next year anyways. To think there’s just absolutely nothing wrong with Cam is stooping to Rivera’s stupidity and ignorance.

I think the OP maybe conflacting two different things.

There are the Cam doubters who question his ability to win it all, and would be willing to trade him. Them you're right to disparage.

But you also have people who are Cam backers that are simply worried about his shoulder and want to make sure he's 100 percent healthy going forward. I believe this is understandable. Even if Cam doesnt have a shoulder issue, I think we've enough evidence that speculating on his shoulder isnt the least bit outlandish
