What does this mean exactly?

So I guess I am confused on what the job of Washington and Rodgers and what they are responsible for? 

- Rodgers was/is the second coach, his assistant has now been fired, basically meaning he has to do his job as well.

- Hoke was fired and Sam Mills III who has been QC I think every year he has been here is now the D-Line coach

- Washington is now in charge of "the front 7"

- Ron now is responsible for the defense, helping Rodgers with the secondary, and play calling

What exactly is Washington coaching? He has a LB coach, a DL coach, is he just "managing" the front 7? Is this like when we had McCoy being the "Passing Game Coordinator"? 

If Ron is basically running the defense himself, who is helping him with game decisions? Package substitutions? Is Norv taking a bigger role?

This is window dressing and something I hopes this franchise wouldn’t do under tepper. It’s obviously a lame duck situation and Rivera is gone in the offseason

I just think a lot of people are in for a rude awakening when Tepper has Ron here another season. 

The only sure way Ron is fired is if we lost out and the team all became Mike Adams,.. disgruntled and throwing Ron under the bus in public— 

if Ron fired these coaches and gets the team back, wins 3-4 more games then I think he survives and everyone here will just have to accept it.

These changes feel like it was sparked from up top. There's no way Ron just woke up one day and said ok changes here here and here

Ehhh, better than nothing. Honestly don’t know what Tepper is expecting to change with these firings.
