On a positive note, I liked what I saw from Ian Thomas today.

Made some clutch catches and helped bail Cam out a few time by breaking his route and coming back to Cam to make a play.

I’m so glad Ron has been trotting Manhertz out there over Thomas for weeks smh.

A good chunk of the TE2's assignment is blocking in our scheme but Ian has shown he's quite capable in protection and carving run lanes.  He's also a receiver.  It's hard to think Manhertz has been THAT much better of a blocker that it has warranted the sittings the past few weeks. 

Ian will be TE1 the rest of the season now, he could show out.  Fingers crossed.

For the most part all the skill players except Cam looked really good today

I know people are not huge fans of McCarthy but give him Cam, Moore, Samuel, CMC, and Thomas and he might change your mind.

Would like to see enough from Thomas to feel comfortable with him taking over as the starting TE new year.

I hope I'm wrong, but I think Greg is likely done. Big men in their mid-30s with recurring chronic foot issues don't magically get better.

There are some major positives on this team and most of them are on their rookie contracts. That's great news. 

Samuel and CMC could be the best one two punch in the league next year

Knowing Ronald the clown, he will make Barner starting RB next week and make CMC inactive
