I'm old enough to have seen in my life players cry real tears when their utter loser coach gets fired, because they "like/love" him.

And therein lies the problem... when the relationship between coach and player is an EMOTIONAL one rather than a PROFESSIONAL one.

Emotion is a limited and extremely erratic commodity.  Professionalism, however, is neither limited nor erratic.

Good read man, thanks.

Problem is Ryan is still backing RR

The team's discipline is dependent and reliant on coaching.  WTF.

He is such a players coach that he has guys lying down in front of the bus for him.

There were players yelling at fans for holding "Fire Seifert" fans at the end of 2001 (Michael Bates was one of them).

Players will almost always blame themselves.

Rivera is the same.  He blames the players too.

I know Khalil is trying to take the heat off Ron and take some responsibility, but he comes off as talking out of both sides’s of his mouth

Lack of discipline = bad coaching

RR weakness is the weakness that has plagued this organization since its inception....loyalty over winning.

He was loyal to Shula and kept him 3 years too long. He has been loyal to Washington and has completely squandered this year. These two moves alone are primary reasons his teams have underachieved in critical seasons...

Players are dumb as hell, if your execution is the problem why not just get rid of you instead

I wonder if tepper said you choose, let you or Ron go who they would choose :Eyes_Emoji_42x42:
