With teppers steelers connections, I wonder if mike tomlin could/would be talked out of the booth to coach us. I thought I’d heard a rumor he had connections to or was interested in the position. But this was years ago.

Seriously doubt it since Tepper wanted Tomlin fired in Pittsburgh.

Tepper didnt make 12 billion dollars by sitting on his hands

thats why im optimistic long term for this team even beyond Cam Newton. If we did a complkete rebuild through and through I would support it

that said, I hope we get Cam an aggressive innovative Coach and bring out what was watsed with Cam's first half of his career

also, I want that shoulder healthy damn it  i hope its fixable  no doubt theres a problem

again, Teppers got this. Not afraid to make brass balls types of decisions.

Seems like Marty and Ron would be a package deal.

So, I'm guessing Ron will likely keep his job until Tepper is prepared to cut ties with Marty.

I've heard a couple of people suggest that Hurney might be "promoted" (i.e. get him out of the GM chair). As long as he doesn't have any say in football decision making I could live with that, but I think it's just as likely he's shown the door. Why keep spending money just to save his ego?

Either way, Rivera's probably going to be promoted to free agent.

I doubt Tepper does anything before he puts a new GM into Hurney's slot.

After that, all bets are off.

Think you are right. Tepper should have a plan for the offseason already. Think he is waiting to implement all his changes then but if we keep losing he might move them up.  This will be his first offseason so changes was expected.  Losing just makes it easier.

I expect broad changes this offseason. Then minor changes the next few offseasons til Tepper is happy. I will start worrying if Tepper meddles in the beginning or middle of the season's.  But firing ron and burney know is justified.

If that happens then it's like JR never left. That'd be the most JR move ever.
