Panthers Team Spokesman Says There Will Be No Comment From David Tepper Regarding Ron's Job Security

Brass testicles has no correlation to trying to publicly humiliate someone.

Someone who has made as much money investing long-term as Tepper would not be impetuous enough to disgrace a coach just to appease a certain element of the fanbase.

But, he was impetuous enough to buy the home of his former cohort only to knock it to the ground lol.

I keep saying, he wanted Tomlin gone, so Rivera has to be well below his standard of acceptability.  It has nothing to do with appeasing anyone else.  Tepper is a results-driven guy with an edge.

I’m thinking a GIF from Full Metal Jacket,...

Private Pyle getting choked by the Senior Drill Instructor,.

Lean out and choke yourself Ron

LMFAO!

Also liked the other posts talking about "well Ron, you had some opportunities"

Woulda been real nice there to not do 7 step drops(aka not hire Shula at all) all SB long and then be a so called defensive expert and have a no neck Peyton Manning beat you....ffs that was the easiest SB win any team could have hoped for with any sort of half competent coaching staff.

True, but that was in response to a man who Tepper felt personally slighted him...

I personally just see no upside to letting Rivera go before the end of the season...

As improbable as it is, the Panthers have not been eliminated from the playoffs.

And even of/when they are, Rivera finishing the season is the right thing in my opinion.

Whether he gets fired or not, he has done zero to warrant being disgraced by the owner.

But you are right in regards to no one really knows but Tepper

Yea and really Rivera may actually be more of a fire him during the season type of coach afterall.

He's constantly thrown the players under the bus and literally only just last game took any sort of blame for anything ever that went on wrong with the team(Tepper obviously influenced that)

He's kept our star players in the game when the game was over and has done this even in games we were winning big.

Plays worse players over better players which can't sit well with people who know they deserve to be starting.

When you really analyze it you will probably come to the conclusion that Rivera really hasn't done poo to deserve any sort of above and beyond reproach type of respect. He was good at sucking off good ole JR which actually could bring in to question how the MFer got the job in the first place when no one else wanted him.

That said, I find it odd that Rowboat would use Tepper's name in any way when answering questions like this from the press --- makes me wonder if there's some sort of conflict between the two.

Yea remember Gettleman...."you'll have to ask JR"

Now that was after the fact but shades of that ring here.

Sucks for Ron to be the fall guy on a day that cam threw 4 picks in a must-win game

“Sucks for Ron to be the fall guy”

LOL mannn come on with that. So bad I have to respond twice.

You mean it sucks for Ron to actually be held responsible for the consistently poo product he puts out on the field?
