Rivera and Cam are attached at the hip. If a new coach / GM  come in, Cam is no longer secure. 

Generally speaking, this was a season where this staff sort of had to show new ownership why he should keep them. They’ve failed spectacularly.

Tepper strikes me as a no nonsense kind of guy. Wouldn’t be surprised if he blows up this whole thing.

Cam is nursing a sore shoulder, he doesn't throw in practice on Wednesdays. He tweaked the shoulder on a run today, got up grimacing. Anytime Cam says his shoulder hurts they put Heineke in, which is the smart thing to do. The offseasons will do him wonders.

I know everyone is piling on Ron at the moment, but we saw Cam as a pocket passer only and it wasn’t pretty. Cam has to be Cam and taking hits is part of it.

Don't agree at all.  Cam has been a pocket passer most of the year, and it has worked well.

Cam was done last week. The mention of Cam head in his hands summed it up. I do believe Cam has never fully recovered from the shoulder injury and should have sat out longer to recover. He wanted to get his old teammates rings, but finally realized last week that you can be playing lights out as an inividual its still not enough. He finally realizes that superman needs batman, captain America and Wonder Woman. For yrs he has carried the offense and now that he may need a little help there is no one. When the defense finally steps up and decides to play its all but little too late and then when that works special teams or bad coaching decisions happen. I am not shocked at this loss and was expecting it. Rivera pissed this season away and then waited to the last minute to step in. Now media will do the usual spill on Cam. It took 5yrs to get Cam another decent OC and 7yrs wrs. I think Cam is drained, frustrated, and yes physically hurt.

Cam's deep ball? Yeah that's officially done and it showed on the miss to Funch and the hail mary attempt. 

Your backup shouldn't have to come on for your starter for that throw. If he was hurt earlier, put Heinicke in then. It's less concerning than pulling your starting QB for a hail Mary.

Today was hard to watch. Seeing our #2 getting that much more zip on the ball than Cam. However, this may be a 2018 thing. I'm optimistic that Cam can get back to strength over time as long as his injuries don't keep getting re-aggrivated (which seems to always be the case with our inconsistent O line)
