Well that seems pretty official,.. not speculating on what Tepper may or may not be thinking.

in that case, let’s discuss new coaches, making some Gruden type trades etc,..

trade people like Luke and KK for picks? Hurney gone too?

Just blow it up. Hell,.. Cams on table too,.. what can we trade him for?

”major” changes might include all of that,.. so rip off all the bandaids and see what we have

Gruden’s a moron as far as building a team...you don’t trade off your cornerstone  elite players just cause you bring in a new coach and gm ...the rams didn’t trade off Gurley or Goff when they fired fisher for mcvay...you don’t trade your franchise QB coming off his best season in his prime. We have talent on this team...it’s not a Cleveland style build up from scratch situation by any means.

I kinda doubt that.

You want to be scared of what could happen if we hire somebody new? That's fine. I'm more scared of continuing to decline.

As I've said many a time, I'll take a chance on somebody who might be bad over somebody who I know is bad every single time without any hesitation whatsoever.

What do you doubt? I’d rather stick with a coach that has the potential to take us to the playoffs still THIS year then dump somebody while there is still a chance.

This message from Tepper takes two angles. He’s either considering it during this season, or he’s trying to push Ron.

What do we have to do to get in the playoffs? If we go in with that kind of momentum who know how far we can go.

I bet Tepper could get Bruce Arians...

Bruce did wonders for Ben and Andrew Luck and others,. Hell even Carson,.. I love his offense. Bruce should have been our coach when Cam was drafted,..

for DC,... i really want a coach like McDermott back— our defense was pretty good most years and lights out plenty of times.

Who would be a GM candidate? I wonder if Tepper would bring in a VP like Holmgren like some teams have,..

I’m kinda being sarcastic

Even if we win, it's a front on the part of Rivera. Tepper has to know Rivera will go back to the same bullshit once he knows his job is safe.

I seriously doubt Rivera will ever be safe unless he wins a Superb Owl.

Who says we will lose? I thought fan cheered for their team?

I'm pretty sure fans of the Cardinals, Jets and Raiders all "cheer for their team", but they're not delusional about where there teams are.

I'm a fan, but I also know that I'm a fan who's cheering for a football team that's not very good.

Like the Rams?

Took the words out of my mouth

given the already announced retirements, the pending  cap cuts, and the need to rebuild the defense and parts of the oline, and hitting the peak of Newton and the tricky career left for Luke, we need to do better than has been done

i mean, really, who didnt know that Washington would probably not work out   Start with that

im sure he will do what he always does...start pushing when all is, or is almost lost, as after all, ‘it’s just one game’

We are a terrible team. It starts with Ron. Our record says 6-5 but really should be 4-7. The Rams, Saints, Bears, hell even the Cowboys would kick our ass. We are a team that will most likely lose to the Browns next week. We aren't making the playoffs and if we do, we aren't making it past any of those teams. Rivera has killed this team with his outdated philosophy.

It doesn’t start with Ron, it starts with the ownership(minus this case) and Hurney.

So in this case it starts with Hurney, but y’know people rejoiced over a half beat radio announcer amateur trying to manage a football team.

It is quite possible we will be 7-5 and Washington has to go into philly in prime time and Minnesota has to go to foxboro.

We win and they lose we are back on top. We win and one loses we are back in the picture.

So how bout let’s go get a win?

Ron Rivera may or may not be a "coach who has the potential to get us in the playoffs this year". What he isn't is a coach who has the potential to win a championship, this year or any other.

Rivera isn't good enough. The longer you hang on to him, the more of our good players' time you're wasting.

Arians wants to coach the Browns. And there are better options out there than him anyway.

I still believe the GM candidate likely comes from the Steelers, probably Omar Khan.
