Literally every team who’s owner has complained about the lack of analytics has ended up in the bottom 5 in the league for years. It’s just an excuse,

See Cleveland for a start.

Old School, see patriots. How many Superb Owls do they have again?

Lmao if you actually think the Patriots have been anything but progressive in office management and scheme.

I see folks on here defending Rivera (mediocrity) and putting blame on others instead of the gotdamn HC for our issues

Thank you David Tepper for telling fans you are not just another Richardson

We have Cam along with CMC, Moore and Curtis that can wreck damage in this league..

Its time to clean house and build a dynasty

We were in the playoffs 3 times with Fox before things crumbled and he left. 4 times with Rivera, although I don't see the 2014 season when we stumbled backwards into the playoffs as a success.

3 consecutive play off appearances, vs a large spread.

3 conseccutive play off apprerances followed by a bump then another one and we aren’t out of the running yet this year.

But you know, when the sky is falling the sky is falling and 90% of people tend to over react.

We can revisit this when we are in or out.

And that’s why I railed and will continue to do so Vs. Hurney.

Personally I disagree, I’d rather not waste our super stars prime years and the last few years of our oldschool good vets rebuilding a team.

We all want to see wins, playoffs, superb owls.

GM needs to change, Rivera needs to stay and we need to bring Wilkes back as DC or find a new one and put Washington back on his line.

You don't want to waste years of their careers with a rebuilding project, but you're willing to waste them with a coach that the game has passed by?

The only difference with your approach is that we'll get an even later start on rebuilding and actually wind up wasting more of their remaining years.

The current staff meeded a huge season to stay and I said it when Tepper became the new owner. This guy has lots of NFL experience as a minority owner. You can't tell me he hasn't been dreaming of owning his own franchise for years. You also can't tell me that he doesn't want to bring in people who will mirror his mindset. You don't spend $2.5B on a team just to keep the status quo mediocrity.

Analytics does not = progressive.

Being able to adapt while maintaining the same oldschool football mentality that Bellichek brings does.

Fox was here for 9 seasons. Rivera has been here for 8. Consecutive or not, they're pretty much the same. And like I said, we backpedaled into the playoffs in '14.

Hardly matters. Tepper can't be fired and I doubt he sells the team anytime this year.

We don't know what kind of owner he is, yet, as he hasn't had to get involved in any major decisions. That changes this offseason. Then you can judge.

I question whether Tepper would sell the team in the next lifetime.

When Kent Babb profiled him, he stated his expectation that Tepper will actually spend the next few years transitioning to becoming a full-time NFL owner with everything else in the background.

We aren’t even out of the playoffs yet. We can have this discussion at end of the season.

But I will say this, Thats if they are even still here. Who knows what our future GM is going to bring and who he’s going to want to keep.

Think on that.

Lmao I don’t know what to tell you if you think what the Patriots are doing is old school. Their scheme has adapted to the modern game and they adapt to their team’s strengths. It’s far from old school.
