Ron Rivera officially on the hot seat.

Sorry if this has already been mentioned, but one of the interesting things in the article was the Analytics comment.  That doesn't sound like an indictment of JUST the coaching staff, but the office people as well.  I don't doubt that Rivera is on the hot seat, but the office chairs could be getting a little hot as well.

Also, this happens a lot when new ownership comes in, whether its a sports franchise or a business.  The ownership has to be comfortable with the guys running things.  It's not really an indication of what type of owner Tepper will be, or that he would be the type that would change coaches every couple of years.

I've been hearing this for a while now. It seems it's hitting the mainstream media today.

"Panthers owner David Tepper, who spent nearly $2.5M billion to purchase the team amid the fallout of Jerry Richardson's sexual misconduct suspension a year ago, is becoming increasingly frustrated with the team's recent performances and is mulling major changes if the results to do not change quickly, multiple league sources said."

I would have given RR the benefit of the doubt if he had the balls to fire Washington about 5 games ago. But he didn’t have it...and thus should be fired as well.

Go hard after Lincoln Riley, David Shaw, Bruce Arians and be done with it.

One thing to keep in mind is that Tepper is going to get his pick. He’s willing to spend unlike our previous owner which is going to be attractive to coaches and GM candidates.

you'd think that carolina would be an attractive destination now.  the weird dinosaur owner is gone and you've got the QB, the skill positions, and a guy who wants to win and is willing to spend to do it running the team.

If I’m not mistaken early reports indicate the HC/Staffing position that’s going to be available is one of the hottest.

Good luck with that.  By the time this $hitshow turns around Cam and Luke will be old and decrepit

How long do you think it takes to turn a team around?  Cam is only 29.  He should have another 3-5 years left in him.  And Kuechly isn't even 28 yet.
