Some Prospects To Look Out For

Justin Herbert is pretty impressive and the top QB.  Gotta think someone picks him very early (Jags, Giants), but would take a very serious look at him if he gets in our range.  Humble kid, huge, big arm and leader.  Needs time to work on accuracy but lots of potential.

4-3 DE fits: Bosa, Gary, & Ferrell

Ferrell could fall to us, Gary would take a prayer.  If we wind up with pick 7-9, we could snag  a legit talent.

Outside of RD1, I'm a fan of Terry Beckner Jr. at DT out of Mizzou.  We need a DT to fit in the rotation in case Short keeps underperforming.  Butler is gone, Love is old.  Could be a great 3-4 rounder.

NT wise, I like Demarcus Christmas.

If the Panthers choose to go with the best player available and he is there then Greedy Williams needs to be the pick. Personally, I haven’t seen a corner as impressive as him since Patrick Peterson. Just look what Williams did to Metcalf, a projected first round pick.

I also think Zach Allen can be had in the second round and I think he’d be a great fit for this defense because he is not one-dimensional. He led the FBS in stops among edge rushers and is no slouch as a pass rusher either, in fact he had 12 QB hurries in a single game against Temple.

My sleeper is Iowa State WR Hakeem Butler, who I think could be had in the third round. A big WR that ACTUALLY knows how to use his body and is physical. I’d love a top three of Moore, Samuel, and Butler.

^ This x1000. We may have to grab him in the 2nd but that WR group would be a nightmare for opposing defenses. He'd be a huge upgrade over Funchess.

Butler would be to use what Mike Williams is to the LA Chargers. I'm sure Norv will have his eye on him if he comes out.

So sick of these posts. Can we ban these people and move on?

Tanner Muse

6'2 230, fast for his size

He is Physical.

He is a glove Fit for OLB.  Give me him in the 4th

I wouldnt mind drafting a LB as long as it isnt in the first couple of rounds, so that sounds good to me

  • 2 weeks later...

I have seen a few mocks with Devin White from LSU falling to us with all the "premier" pass rushers gone...If he's there at 16...

Do you pull the trigger?

I'm kind of in the air and a lot of the writers are citing Davis leaving as the reason we go LB (which I think is a weak argument just by itself). I know this place would burn to the ground but from a value stand point I think its not a bad pick per say.
