Does anyone feel Funchess should be retained?

Nope. Why keep a guy that just doesn't catch the ball consistently? That's literally your job. We did get rid of a guy that had stone hands recently.

I use to think he should be brought back on a reasonable contract but that's hard to justify anymore. 

You got players in the later rounds like the Moore kid Seattle got, Golladay and Valdes-Scantling doing what he does at a better value.

pretty sure this will be a unanimous No. Recency bias for one, last game he played was definitely he worst. But he is probably the 4th best WR on the team right now, so no reason to pay him more than $5M/yr. Also, I am gonna suggest this was a phantom injury. Way to convenient.

His career here has been okay, maybe for $5M/yr i would keep him but anything more is absurd.

It depends really.   How much?  If it wants #1 and #2 money, no way.    If he takes #3 money and understands that is his role, then fine.

Hell no. I'm not sure I'd even want him back on a veteran minimum contract. If the next staff wants a big WR, draft one or sign a different mid-level FA.

Ironically KBs last two seasons with us he almost had the same catch rate as Greg Olsen

I hope not.. but unless there are coaching changes I could see a sizable push to bring him back by Hurney/Rivera/Turner... he's clearly not a #1 but does the kind of things they want to do down the field.

I might consider keeping him around for a few million a season but that's about it.  No way I go over 5 a season. Let some other sucker overpay him.
