Yep. I've always thought that there's stuff behind the scenes that we don't know about, so I always gave Ron the benefit of the doubt because the players always play hard for him. I can't defend him anymore. His personnel decisions alone are grounds for firing.

Yup. The Vikes game some years ago where we gave up the lead and KB's hold had the huge Fozzy TD called back was my last straw. I'll never forget that bs game. 

He should've been canned halfway through his third season before he temporarily grew a set.  

I've done a few threads on it before but the Riverboat thing was a whole facade and Cam carried the team the SB run in spite of awful coaching that let teams come back into games repeatedly that season.

Ron is no real player's coach. He sucks as a leader.

"Missed opportunities" lol. We fumbled the ball, what, 3 times? And recovered it all 3 times. *edit* FIVE TIMES. And lost NONE of them. The odds of that are like 1 in 32 or about a 3% chance. So we had a lot more possible missed opportunities. We were lucky to even be in position to win the game in the first place.

Even playing for the 3 is fine, but you don't play for the 3 from the 30+ yard line, and you dont leave them any time left so if he misses it goes to OT. It's like in basketball, if you have the ball with :20 left and more than that on the shot clock with a tie game, your shot should be the last shot in regulation. Offense was humming on that drive and then we just shut it down and decided, hey we're in FG range and thats good enough.

I mean, is there a more bipolar coach than ours? It's not even conservative/aggressive, last week he goes for two to win the game after the offense had gotten all the momentum in a situation where even if you convert Detroit still has a good chance to win the game. He doesn't trust the kicker to make an XP last week, but then he's a-ok with a 50+ yarder this week? I mean wtf?

remember when he first went for it on 4th down his 3rd year in the league and people started calling him Riverboat? and he responded saying he prefers calculated-decision Rivera or some poo like that?

it's pretty fuging hard to believe he's calculating anything because these decisions are made with seemingly ZERO regard for the situation at hand. total fuging dart throws.

It is remarkable to watch an NFL coach exist in an echo chamber like the one he has built for himself.

Hopefully Tepper makes good on the culture change here and gets a regime in place that is serious about winning consistently.
