My gosh, de Haan just got injured in the post game work out, saying it's back spasms.

Time to get Adam Fox on the phone and convince him to sign.

It's going to be interesting to see who is able to go on Friday. If Ferland, Faulk, and de Haan are all out we could see something like:

Ferland and Faulk I think were just precautionary, they're day to day and unlikely to miss time.  de Haan would be the only one I could see possibly missing time and Fleury would be able to fill in.

So we're back down to WC2 after CBJ beat Philly in OT.

Also, Ferland was on the ice today for practice and RBA said that he is optimistic about Faulk and de Haan playing tomorrow.

They always say the biggest game (most important game) is the next game and that couldn’t be more true than it is tonight.

Carolina is playing another playoff contending team in St Louis (one of the hottest teams in the NHL along with the Canes) while Montreal and Pittsburgh are playing New York (Rangers) and Buffalo respectively.

A win at the very minimum keeps us in our WC2 spot.

   Tough game on the road tonight! Getting a little excited about the playoffs. I know I probably should use tonight's game as to much of a measure, but each "tough" game gives a nice dose of excitement for the post season! ...Man,...a solid win in Boston would be awesome!
