it's too early in the season to start rooting for other teams. last year i wasted time rooting for the bucs to lose some games, they took care of business on their own at the end though

You'd be a fool to hope Atlanta wins if you want ANY far-off shot at a Playoff shot for the Panthers. Division Win or Wild Card, whatever we could have would be better if our record were better than Atlanta's.

IMO, we have no realisitic chance at the division. A good team like NO with a three game lead with 11 games left against a tough schedule is an uphill climb. We do have a realistic shot at the wildcard, and both Dallas and Atlanta could be competors for that slot. So either of them losing is a good thing. In fact, it might be better if Dallas loses, because we have a shot at beating Atlanta in Charlotte, but there is no such shot against Dallas.
