Among QBs who have started every game this season Cam is dead last in redzone attempts

Yet is 6th in TD passes, easily the most efficient redzone QB in the league.

It crazy to think Cam has put up prolific numbers with this coaching staff. Yet it’s aggravating knowing Cam’s numbers will never reach their full potential, meanwhile other QBs will continue to put up monster numbers on aggressive coaching alone.

What percent of red zone plays does he throw compared to other QBs? That’s probably the more important stat. CMC runs the ball at an average rate in the red zone so this may be a function of just not running that many plays in the red zone.

Yea agree. I’m not finding where these stats make an argument for or against someone other than Cam is doing very well when they get in the Red zone.

@GoobyPls can you explain a little more what your thoughts are?

It’s hard trying to find redzone trips per game stats.

Red zone offense is not an issue for us:

Scoring in the red zone is not our problem.  Thus, I don't care how many red zone attempts Cam has.  We score when we get there, by any means necessary, which is great.

Now, are we getting enough red zone attempts?  Probably not.  That's a different conversation.

Cam is probably the best red zone weapon football has ever seen.

I really want us to move on from Rivera simply because I want to see what Cam is capable of while he's still in his prime under a coach that will fully take the reins off. We've played conservative, defensive oriented football with an elite, one of a kind QB for long enough.

Paring him with Mike McCarthy might do the trick. I can only imagine what a mind like him could do for our team.
